Seems I've gotten up to 2000 pageviews. I'm surprised.

I'm watching Matilda on god knows what channel on my Dad's satelite tv, I have no spell check on this computer, I'm role playing yaoi with ~BlueAxelgirl, and am trying to stay as cool as I can while fending off the itty-bitty little bugs that can squeeze through the window screen.

I know it's not hot outside right now, seeing as it's pitch black out there, but it's close to boiling inside and I'm cooking.
It's intimidating to go outside in the dark here. I'm not ashamed to admit that. There is no sound. Around this time, the crickets begin to shut up. There are clouds in the sky, so the millions of stars that you can usually see are gone. Sometimes something moves in the bushes. It could be the cats, or the horses, or deer, or that bear that lives over the hill, or that cougar that ate a pony not too far away.
Tomorrow night my Dad and step-mom are coming home from their trip to the Oregon Coast. I'm getting paid $100 for house-sitting.
So far, I've made two meals from scratch for myself. I was pretty pleased with that, especially when the stir fry I made served four people (including me) and got good reviews from everyone. I also made a really good breakfast burrito that didn't take all that long at all.
I still have to paint the fence that follows the entire driveway in canola oil (which should be called rape seed oil) and I'm just barely past the house now... it's been six days that I've been doing that, too. : |

I think I'm coming back late August. I can't wait.

I'm tired of this place already.
I've almost ran out of led for my mechanical pencil.
I've gotten a few ideas for stories that died when I watched a documentary on J.K. Rowling 'cause I figured that they weren't original enough.
I have two scrapes on my right leg from sticks that I stepped on wrong while searching for the stupid cows.
I've had to nail up two rails so the horses don't bend the wire of their pen all to hell.
I felt extremely outcast when some people brought their daughters to check up on their horses.
My sinuses keep acting up and I sneeze at least four times a day.

But, and this might make Kath happy, I have one profile done and am going to start on the second tomorrow. If my lead doesn't run out.

It's now 2:02 am. I'm a little tired, but... I don't want to go to bed.
I wonder if anyone has called...
Being on dial-up internet means that not only is it slow, no one can call you.
Troublesome, huh?

I want school to start. I miss my friends. I wish I had remembered to bring the charger for my MP3 player so I could listen to that Lacuna Coil Axel downloaded for me.

Anyway, I'm done. I feel lighter. I'd be surprised if anyone read this all the way through.

I hear something outside, probably from the hills behind the property across the road. Most likely coyotes. They sound really cool when they howl. It's so eerie it makes your hair stand on end...
